Beach Sweater

So continuing my sweater knitting craze, I also started swatching for the Shift of Focus sweater.  I originally saw this sweater on the Single Handed Knits podcast and after digging around in the deep stash, I found some cotton blend that I thought would work.

I balled up one of the two skeins of yarn and have started knitting to determine what needles I need to use.

After knitting with swatch, I determined that I met gauge with US 7 needles so I was off to start the sweater.

The knitting begins at the top with some short row shaping for laying against your shoulders.  The colors are working out pretty well.
