We hit the food court next and it was a bonanza of choices.
Serena even had me try duck tongues.
We sat in the food court with these glasses as overhead fixtures but no lights which I thought kind of strange.
I had a "box" lunch and Serena ordered a squid lunch. Squid is very big here.
After walking around the mall, there was not too much to see as it was a designer shops and we have enough of that at home so we headed to the "cheap" clothing place.
This place was crazy crowded and clothes were very cheap. They were displayed in bins as well as having only display items and when you chose something, it comes out of a bag in the back. The only problem was that you cannot try anything on and given that I am bigger than most of these people, I did not buy any clothes.
Wufenpu shopping district – 五分埔
Fashion cheap – affordable clothing and accessories from over 100 shops and stalls are crammed into the tightly packed Wufenpu retail area. Located just off Yongji road and in surrounding lanes, within strolling distance of Raohe Night Market.
Location: Yongji Road, Taipei City / 台北市永吉路
Transport: metro to Houshanpi Station (後山埤站) (exit 1) then walk along Zhongpo Road and turn into Yongji Road
It was a cook yourself type of place, but we decided to order off the menu instead.
After being dropped off back at the studio, we headed to bed.
