Taste of the Himalayas

Yaling and I joined Josephine and Jean for dinner at Taste of the Himalayas on Midway.  It is a small place and was very crowded.  The food was tasty but the service was a bit slow.

We all started with the mango lassi.

A special naan that was sweet.

And a variety of dishes.

Mid price range and leftovers for tomorrow.

Grace and I met for dinner at 8Elements on Mira Mesa Blvd.  The traffic was the pits as usual but the food was good.

We had the garlic naan which wasn't overwhelming.

We had a chicken dish and a potato cauliflower dish which was kind of spicy.

And rounded out with a lamb kabob.

Tasty with leftovers for lunch.
