Makai Mystery Knit-a-long

So one of the August 1 projects I am embarking on is the Makai mystery knit-a-long.  It is a shawl pattern based on scenery in Hawaii.

I pulled out some Handmaiden seasilk yarn I have been saving for a special project.

The first clue of the pattern released and I started with the cast on and the easy part.

I need to start the ripple stitch pattern which has been modified a few times in the course of a few days.  I am waiting a bit for everything to settle down before I take it on.
