Angkor National Museum and Cambodian Street Market

We had a break between our first and second tour where we stayed at the Sofitel.  The grounds were beautiful and lush.
Our building was across the  little lake on the property and even though it was hot, it was the height of luxury.  There was a little pagoda in the lobby.
Which I found later, a musician would play a wind instrument.

Every day, someone came by the room with food and a small gift.  I ate quite a bit of this fruit.
We went to the Angkor Museum and got a quite history of the region before heading to Angkor Wat again.
They had this little temple before going into the room with a 1,000 buddhas where I got a fortune.

"Just like a dying tree in a dry land, suddenly refreshed and soaked with rain, reviving back to life.  Strengthening and brightening up required.  In order to achieve common targets, compromise and discussions recommended.  Patient recovering.  Lost persons will be found.  Mismatch is likely.  A good luck coming your way."

We then went to lunch for a tasting menu.
Since the restaurant was next to the street market, we walked through the market but did not buy anything.
These are small clams on a flatbed truck parked on the street.  There was some kind of heating element under the bed.
This is the fruit in natural form that I ate the entire time I was in Cambodia.
One side of the market had stall after stall of cured meats.
Lots of stalls with the infamous elephant pants which I got a few pairs.  These were the best things to wear as they are super light weight and billowed to keep you cool in the humid weather.

We also went to a night market where we saw Pub street.
On the way back, I saw a couple of these salons where fish would eat the dead skin off of your feet.  I was leery to try it though.
