Dressing up for Dinner

After a little rest and unpacking, we headed out for a special dinner where you could dress up in ancient costume like you were royalty.  

Some people went ahead, but it was so humid and even though the costumes were beautiful, I could not contemplate putting on what amounted to heavy robes of silk.

The restaurant was beautifully decorated.

The dinner was also themed and we had musicians in costume play during the first course.  The only mishap here was that the power went out and with it went the air-conditioning.  Candles were brought out to the tables and that added even more heat.

Thank goodness, the power came back on before we were too deep in dinner.
