Grace, Jon, Karen, and I took Yaling to Catania Coastal Italian to celebrate her birthday. Once Grace used her juju to get us a reservation after seeing the restaurant booked solid from 4:30 to 8:00, we met at 6:00 for dinner.
We started with some starters.
Wild salmon crudo.
Smoked duck liver mousse.
Wood grilled quail & little gem.
Sicilian pistacchio pizza.
Squid ink corzetti.
Diavola pizza.
Duck sugo orecchiette.
Kevin, our waiter, brought out the peaches and prosciutto for Yaling's birthday as well as serving a peach dessert with ice cream and a candle.
