Baby Quilt Finally Finished

Back in April, I found out that my friend Serena had a baby girl.  I pulled out and quilted a baby quilt kit for her and it went out for quilting, and I was able to finished the hand sewn binding.

Then the quilt sat for a bit since I was intimidated by my embroidery machine.  After taking that great class, I rolled up my sleeves and got to work.

I embroidered without any problems, and then I framed the block and finally used steam a seam to iron on the block to the back and then stitched it in place by hand.

It is ready for transport.
