Janet and I continued our eat around San Diego and tried out The Patio at Goldfinch in Mission Hills.
We actually sat on the patio next to the fireplace. It was a bit cramped and very busy. We valet parked the car as street parking is hard to come by.
We ordered a few dishes to share starting with the fig bruschetta.
We then tried the grilled caesar salad which had a really interesting texture.
For our main dish, we shared the fish of the day which was a mahi mahi that was a bit dry, but the sauce was delicious. The kale crisps were very crunchy and salty and added to the overall flavor.
We were too full for dessert, but everything is made to be shared with pretty large portions. I recommend reservations if planning to dine.
