Andrea came in from Vegas for a visit and we went on a dining tour. I first took her to the Havana Grill for lunch where the menu items have changed a bit from the soft opening when I was there last. It was crowded for lunch which was good to see.
I order what Yaling ordered the first visit while Andrea tried the sandwich.
It rained a bit with some weather sounds so Bailey wore his thunder shirt and hid under my desk.
We then went out to dinner for Cajun food here with Yaling and had a pretty good discussion about careers and retirement.
The jambalaya was spicy and the shrimp and grits looked tasty. Alas, no beignets to be had.
We ran some errands the next day and tried out a new vietnamese sandwich place which was really good. Parking at the location is challenging.
The last meal we had before she left to go home was out to hot pot with Yaling and Grace.
Filing and great on a cool night and we had complimentary ice cream for dessert.
