Susan and I did some fabric shopping at the swap meet in National City. The fabric booths were plentiful and piles of fabrics were on the floor. Some were remnants and others were in rolls.
We made two trips to the car with our findings. One booth had a $5/bag deal where you fit as much fabric into a plastic bag and it only cost $5. I came away with quite a bit of knits with more cotton than lycra.
Lycra seemed really big with great patterns but it was a bit too much for me. Here is the truck with our purchases.
Half of the haul was mine and here is it all laid out for washing.
We then headed for a late lunch at Little Sheep Mongolian Hot Pot where we shared a divided pot with beef, lamb, seafood, and mushrooms. Susan also got seaweed and I added some tofu.
We shared the watermelon juice and it was cool and refreshing after spending the day in the sun.
Great day!
