Cone Head Bailey

Well the brown dog had a suspicious growth (wart like) on his left hind leg on the flank.  It didn't seem to bother him at all, but we had it checked out at the vet on our last visit.

After an aspiration, it was determined to be bad so the brown dog had to go in for surgery.  It was a good thing that he was scheduled on the same day as the freak weather storm we had here in San Diego where I would swear it was just like the summer I spent on the Georgia coast.  Humid with that strange air that soon became thunder and lightning.  The brown dog, even though he is a very big boy, is scared of his own shadow.

The wound looks particularly nasty as a lot of tissue was removed and he now has to be a cone head because he likes to lick and fuss.

Bailey is very pretty but not very smart so he spent a lot of the first night and next day just standing around looking pitiful.

He can't go in and out of the dog door and has to be escorted through the glass door as he has never had to wait for potty opportunities.  Mr. Chowhound that eats everything in sight will only lick his antibiotic capsules so wet food has to be employed which pushes Ms. Pepperoni totally out of shape.

What can you do with a face like that?
