Slow Foods - Local Habit Dinner

I belong to the local Slow Foods group which advocates eating local and organic.  Periodically, they host special dinners and the gals and I decided to to to the Local Habit dinner.


Although each dish was paired with a local beer, I had to pass on that and just have water.  The menu was delicious.


Fried avocado with Springhill Cheese Fondue and Pt. Loma Farms arugula.
Sonrise Ranch oso bucco with roasted Proios potatoes and Suzies carrots.
Carbonated Stehly strawberries with Pt. Reyes bleu cheese and Smit Farms walnuts.
The dinner was at Local Habit in Hillcrest.
After dinner, we hit Chocolat for some additional dessert.
