KClub Session 1

I had previously posted about joining knitcompanion's club and the first session discusses a painted tam by Cheryl Potter of Cherry Tree Hill Yarns.  She has a new store called Potluck Yarn.
The first video session is scheduled for April 20 and there are a few options for the tam.  The first is to knit the tam in the round as a whole using already dyed yarn.  I decided to go with a tonal - Alisha Goes Around Tracks of Bison which is a fingering weight yarn consisting of 90/10 fine superwash merino/bison down.
The second option is to use undyed yarn and knit wedges and then dye them and join the wedges together.  I'm going to use some yarn I got from Wool2Dye4 which is a 80/10/10 superwash merino/cashmere/nylon blend.
I'm going to start knitting the wedges with the undyed yarn first and then see what the lesson will be to dye the wedges.
