Painted Tam Finished

Well, my first painted tam knitting in one piece is complete.  The knitting was fairly fast and I had time to knit waiting around as usual.

The color trending was interesting.  Here is the tam flat.

The tam is a bit smaller than I expected.  The gauge was to be 7 stitches per inch and I got 8 stitches per inch.  I'm hoping that it will block out a bit bigger.
