HansenCrafts Sponsored Party

Beth and Kevin Hansen graciously provided food and drink for a get together at the Miller Tree Inn after the first day's classes.  We had an opportunity to chat and mingle with food.  The Hansens also gave all of us a few goodies and we all entered our names for a drawing.  We all speculated that it might be possible to win a new miniSpinner, but we were dead wrong!
She drew out a few names and the winners got cool orifice threaders for the miniSpinner.  One of the gals, Kathee, who didn't have a miniSpinner won one of the beaded threaders and Beth told her that she now needed to buy a miniSpinner.

The grand prize was this cool ball that lit up with light, glitter and water movement when you bounced it on the ground.  Jude ended up with it and it was decided that it would make a great distraction for her pediatric patients.
I think someone else also wanted one and Beth was nice enough to go back the store to acquire it.

Jude also makes amigurumi and she made a miniature octopus for Judith.  Judith wore it on her necklace the next day.

  3. @Cal - here is the information from the purchaser of the ball. Purchased at the general store at the Quileute resort (called Oceanside) at La Push. The ball didn’t have a name. Someone might be able to call the resort (360-374-5267) and get the number of the store…and maybe they can give details. Good luck!
