As part of the espinner retreat, Beth Hansen of HansenCrafts, came to take us through a spoga session (spinner's yoga).
On the afternoon of the first full class day, she brought out the yoga mats and she took us through a modified sun salutation concentrating on moves to release and stretch out the parts of our body that we use for spinning. It was a good session and an awesome stretch after a morning of spinning.
Her main message was to protect yourself so you can spin for a long time. Since she trained as a physical therapist, she really knows what she talks about. Very good tips and we got a handout with the spoga routine.
