Angora Scarf for Val

At the Estes Park Wool Market earlier this year, Val purchased some handspun Angora yarn named after the bunny "Oreo" from Woodlake Woolies that she wanted a scarf made.
I brought it home and tried to find a cool pattern and attempted to make the Emperor's New Scarf by Lucy Neatby, but after knitting a bit over half of the pattern, I was going to run out of yarn.  Also, I couldn't really see the pattern either.
I ended frogging the project and restarted it just knitting a rectangle.  I also used my Ernst glass needles which made the knitting so lovely.
I finished knitting the scarf on the flight over to visit Val and she loves it.

  1. Oh, I just love Woodlake Woolies. I always hit that booth at the Taos Wool Festival. Their fibers are just the best.
