A New Quilt

A long time ago, I had purchased this quilt kit from a post in the Moda Bake Shop.  I loved the fabric and after taking my sewing machine in for service, I was all inspired to sew again.

I was able to finish the quilt top in a couple of days and when I put the squares all together, I discovered that my center triangles are all facing the wrong direction.  I decided this was my design element, but I figured out after, that the corners would have been easier to sew if I had followed the directions.

This quilt is ready to be sent in for quilting.
