Today is the day set aside for voting which is a important part of being in citizen of the United States. I voted over the weekend with my absentee ballot. Since I travel so much, I didn't want to miss out so I am a permanent absentee ballot voter.
It has been a very negative discouraging situation and after seeing television ad after ad and getting a few pounds of election mailings, I'm really glad it is over.
Until the next election cycle - starting tomorrow?
