Scalloped Potatoes With Leeks

I was supposed to make this recipe last weekend for supperclub but had the dreaded stomach bug.


I ended up making it for my spin group this weekend and used my new handy alligator slicer for the potatoes.


It starts with leeks and butter...
Adding layers of potatoes, gruyere cheese, some salt, pepper, and nutmeg and covered with a cup each of broth and heavy cream.
After baking covered and uncovered, it had a nice brown top.
It was very simple with few ingredients and the resulting casserole was delicious.
