Sewing Class

Took a sewing class this weekend where the teacher comes to you.  We all met at Val's house and it was a whirl of sewing machines, steam irons, and cutting mats.


I learned to make a little pet bag that I can take with me when I walk the dogs.  It is ingenious since it has a little pouch outside to dispense the "poop" bags and an inside pocket to hold something small.  There is enough room for dog snacks, a cell phone, an mp3 player, and house keys.


Here is the end result of my first bag with scrap fabric.  Next on the agenda is to make some with dog prints.
