Back to Spinning on the Spindle

I have taken a break from spinning but after the weekend retreat that almost wasn't, I decided to get back in the spin of things.  I pulled out a spin in progress (SIP) which uses my interchangeable KCL Woods drop spindle.

The fiber is from some prep I did at the Texas retreat last year.  

I am also using the wrist distaff that Judy made for me so I have a place to hold the pre-drafted fiber to get a consistent spun single.
