Copper Queen Mine, Bisbee, Arizona

I love the look of the red rocks along the drive through Arizona.  The mountains and the plains are pretty yet desolate.
Driving into Bisbee, we stopped for lunch at the Table.
Where I had some pesto pasta.  It was a bit rich with the cream sauce but tasty.
The restaurant was right across the street from the Copper Queen Hotel.
It was a great quaint town which we were told was half pro-mining and half anti-mining.  The Copper Queen mine is not an active mine anymore and being held in reserve until the price of copper increases.  The hole in the ground is massive.
If you look closely, you can see the copper in the deep green in the rocks.

The entire town is built on steps and there is a race of like a million steps.  They also have derby car races since the roads offer such steep grades.
Lovely rock views on the way out of town.
