In Dreams - Redo?
I started the In Dreams shawl knitting with some variegated yarn.
I totally stalled out on this project and I think part of the problem is that I didn't like the effect of the variegation.
I decided to start this project again with hand spun yarn and I'm using some Ashland Bay 70/30 merino/silk blend in purple.
Even though the fiber has some variegation in color, the resulting yarn will be much more uniform.
I had lost my spinning mojo after Tour de Fleece and I think this is a great project to start spinning again with purpose and a project in mind.
I think you're right. There's no point knitting lace if no one can see it! I would start again in a "quieter" yarn.
