The Mere Yarn

As I posted here about my new spinning project, it was a very productive weekend for crafting.


I plied a lace weight yarn for The Mere shawl and it is a lovely blue gray color.  The first 2 ounces resulted in 368 yards with 20 wpi.

I'm patiently (drumming fingers against the desk) waiting for the beads to arrive already so I can start knitting.


I guess I can spin some more yarn so I won't have to stop knitting when the beads come....
