First Spin Group of 2014

A great start to the year for spin group.  We met at Suzanne's and sat in the bright family room and the temperature was in the 70s.

I continued on my CVM project for my vest and spent an enjoyable day with my peeps.

We went to see Suzanne's loom and had a great discussion about techniques.  Jeri will be visiting Suzanne and helping her warp it up.  She has a great craft room and it looks just like a yarn store.

She also has a great collection of antique-ish sewing machines including this treadle Singer.

Of course, we had great food including lentil stew with garlic rice, a carrot casserole, quinoa salad with peppers and pine nuts and green beans with almonds and roasted leeks.

Suzanne also made sourdough bread in a pot with Shelly rounding out with dessert of bananas and chocolate.
