Tonle Sap Lake and Chong Khneas Floating Village

One of the itinerary items was a boat ride on Tonle Sap Lake and a look at the Chong Khneas Floating Village.  Tonle Sap Lake is the largest fresh water lake in South East Asia and we went out a ways to see a refugee camp of Vietnamese people living on the water.
We boarded a boat and headed out.
There was marsh land along the way and soon we could see a village of house boats.
There were some shops.
And a church/school.
Kids would paddle in basins around the boats asking for charity.
After taking the tour around, we turned about and docked at one of the restaurants to view the sunset.

They had a pit of alligators that they fed as well as fish farming.
There were clouds in the sky so the sunset was obscured and we headed out since the mosquitoes were out in force.  Even Off did not keep them away.
