After a fun filled time at Black Sheep Gathering, it was time to head for home. We left the fairgrounds around 5:00 pm and headed for Cottage Grove to meet with the Bear Mountain Honey people. We had dinner and found some extra space in the packed car to bring some blackberry honey home.
We crashed in Roseburg Oregon for the night and after a hearty breakfast, started the trip south.
Saw the backside of Mount Shasta and proceeded to see the temperatures rise and the scenery change.
Stopped again in Sacramento for the night and did some errands. My mom broke out the panda cookies and we headed to Oz Korean BBQ for dinner.
The place is huge and there is a grill at every table. Here is our grill before dinner.
All the dishes with meat to cook on the grill. We ordered the all you can eat meal and they kept bringing stuff for you to cook if you ran out. We had to beg for mercy after the first few refills.
Here is the grill aftermath.
Great food but I think we all smelled like grilled meat when we got into the car. After a really sound nights sleep, we headed for home.
It was a great trip but the car rides were very long for such a short period of time.
