Tour de Fleece - Day 9

Started a new spinning project with some of the merino/bamboo that I received from a stash trade.  I got 4 ounces called Burnt Horizon.

The colors are pretty vibrant and it will be interesting to see the final yarn.


I separated the 4 ounces into 1 ounce increments and spun up one ounce in a lace weight.

There were some muddy sections from the brown but the green and the orange stood out.


I moved the singles to a storage bobbin for plying later.

Three more ounces to go.  I think this yarn will be done before the end of the Tour.


Tomorrow is a rest day for the Tour so I'll be taking a break from spinning.
